Travelling over 
1. The motorway A7 (Hannover - Kassel):
a) Leave the Motorway on exit “Seesen�
b) At the traffic you drive to the right and follow the
   road 243 ( about 1km, til big crossing, go to the
   right direction: Bad Gandersheim) .
c) Now you follow the road B64  uphill.
d) You leave the next exit (1,5 km) to the right
     and come to the village Dannhausen (next
     crossing left).
e) In the village you must follow a long right-hand
     bend (about 400 m). Coming to the last house
     on the left hand you have to go hard to the left
f)   Now you must follow the street driving always
     to the right if possible.Until you reach a house
     whith a big fossil (ammonite) in  the entry.
g) You have arrived at  Dannhäuser Worthwiese 1

2. Travelling through Bad Gandersheim (B64):
a) Coming from Bad Gandersheim city you have to
   go in direction of Seesen or motorway Hannover.
b) You pass the village of Seboldshausen and take
     the first exit to the right for Dannhausen
c) Now follow instructions from 1 f on

Your holiday flat is situated in Dannhausen, a small village with 330 inhabitants. Especially it can be attractive for you because it is very near to many sights and because of its vicinity to the motorway A7 ( 5 min). A lot of interesting towns cab nbe reached within less than 45 Minutes.

The village is an area of Bad Gandersheimist. This spa is known by its Salt sources. It’s a lot of years old: Foundation: (abbey Brunshausen) 852 a.D. (times of Carolingian emperor  Lothar I !). Thus the city center is characterized by many different architectural styles.

Dannhausen is situated within gentle hills - on the border of the Weser and  Harz mountains. The village is sheltered from the direct influence of cold winds from the north by the “Heberâ€? mountains (about 300 m of altitude). A narrow chain of hills with forests provide the village (in the east) from negative effects as noise or emissions which could result from the motorway.

Also to the South there are mountains up to an altitude of about 300 m . So the village is situated in a  hollow which can only be reached from Bad Gandersheim city
without crossing hills.

Just 6 km (bee-line) to the Harz mountains; the northernmost German Low mountains region with a lot of possibilities for walking or winter sports.

The forest region of the Solling mountains is also a nice region to walk - about 25 km southwest of Dannhausen.

From the cultural point of view interesting towns as Goslar, Hameln, Hildesheim, Göttingen, Einbeck, Quedlinburg and much more can be reached in a few minutes.

The railway Göttingen-Braunschweig crosses Bad Gandersheim -about 6 km from the holiday flats. The trade fair of Hannover can be reached within 35 min (in the south of Hannover on the motorway A7).
